Is that from an article? Rutten retired at the end of 2014 and Kelly was drafted in 2014 so while they were technically on the Crows list in the same year I wouldn’t call them teammates.

Speaking for myself, I’m not at all unhappy with this move. He generally plays on small/medium forwards.

And I reckon he’ll be able to wear #8. Surely this makes Gleeson even more dispensable.

Yeah, that’s what threw me about his rookie draft year. I looked at draft year (listed 2014) and debut in 2015 and forgot.

For what it’s worth I don’t think a year of being teammates, even if they had played together, really offers Truck any great insights considering it was Kelly’s first year in the system.
