I was actually really surprised by how small Darcy was when i met him in person a few months ago.
Not trying to rip into the block but i really was surprised.
I’m 5’7, maybe 5’8-9 in shoes. I also go to the gym and lift regularly. I’m only a few years older than parish too.
When i stood next to him although i was a little shorter i was a lot bigger in the torso than him. Darcy seemed very slim/lean (Skinny) compared to me. In fact, most people who wouldn’t know darcy would probably think i was the professional football player if we both stood next to each other.
Was really surprised.

I think he has the speed of them guys bar Treloar. I doubt we have a play designed around him and I doubt he has near the endurance of those guys. Endurance of Essendon players has been an issue for us as long as I can remember.

My biggest issue with him is his kicking and lack of creativity.

Disagree we need 8 parishes. It’s what the good clubs do. Essendon seems to think you need 1 inside but slows, 2 outside but weak, a wing who’s quick but rubbish overhead etc etc.
