Didn’t he kick two goals ?

He’s got one foot out the door mate, might not be to them but it’s all but done.

We are a far better midfield when he is up around it. He is cleaner, hungrier and more capable than Myers could dream of playing.

It’s clear that when he plays at the coal face we are a better side. He is the future so ■■■■■■■ play him there or sack the guy that won’t.

If we loose him at the end of the year then I’d want Wooshas head for it.

Did his job last night. But like everyone here I’m mystified as to why that was his job at all.

Well thats simple.
One of our very best came back last night.
D myers, inside mid, protector of the small and defender of the opposition.

Lmao I said right after last weeks game that even though Darcy dominated in the centre that this would happen.
Our club is cooked at the moment.

Feel for the kid. As reliable as clockwork, he gets shunted to the FP when Myers returns. Our best last week when he played exclusively in the middle. We are just supporters, yet why can we see this yet the coach, a premiership coach I might add, can’t?

I don’t think playing him up forward, in spurts, has been an altogether waste of time. You do need some versatility in modern football. Unless you are a monster like Cripps it’s hard to be a pure clearance specialist.

But that time has surely passed. Give him the season in the guts and back him in.

The playing of players out of position is my number one criticism of Woosha (and I’m not an anti-Woosh sort, though my patience is beginning to wear thin). Why not Parish on the ball tonight, and Langford the resting forward?

Sometimes family can be more disgruntled than the player themselves…however I know Hawthorn have definately made enquiries as they lack that 20-25YO bracket and another mid.

Depending what happens with Tim Kelly cats are firmly in the mix.

Right now I’m expecting him to be seeking a trade seasons end.

Well if that happens we should absolutely burn the joint down.

Last week Geelong gave two first year players time on the ball in Miers and Atkins. They do not hold a candle to Parish. The good teams and coaches know how to rotate and give young players opportunities.

Parish if he plays for Geelong will play alot of midfield.

Yet Myers will continue to play midfield for Essendon, and we will continue to struggle.

That’s over simplifying.

Last few weeks McGrath played heaps of midfield, this week he was exclusively half back. Stringer got a chunk of midfield time this week after barely getting any the last few. We had fkg Heppell at half back/wing for most of the first half, Zaha at half back almost all the game. Guelfi has been fwd, mid, back all year.

It’s absolutely not a Parish only issue - we rotate all our midfielders all the time.

It only seems to be a Parish issue because he drops off the map when he’s not in the square.

He hit the scoreboard last night so didn’t totally drop off the map, which was great.
