Who knows. Clearly recurring soft tissue injuries have been a major issue for the club for a long time now

Letting Parish go when he was out of contract, was not just suggested by many people…… it was recommended.
People will say “ohh but it’s easy to say it in Hindsight”.
It wasn’t just hindsight. Many people said we should have cashed in. It proved to be the correct move.

At that time we didnt have the depth in middle like now.
Parish and Merret were our best 2 mids with Stringer having stints in there

I often forget he even plays for Essendon.
Parish is not our future. I’m not phased if he never plays again.

Signing Parish to a new deal was the wrong move. End of story.
He was AA and had the best season of his career was always going to get a long term deal
