#3 Darcy Parish - signed to 2029 (Part 3, from April 2025)

Check the list of golfer injuries. I dont see the calf mentioned in there. Now if Parish was out with torso, shoulder or lower back injuries. OK.

Or if his arms were pulled out of their sockets, get him to give up waterskiing.

To develop his calves maybe try cycling instead of golf. Lets be positive.

Is he trying to force a trade?

GOLF!

Why is it that when Zack and Rids go overseas to get a 2nd opinion they’re lauded for their effort to recover, whereas when Darce seeks a 2nd opinion in his own backyard some posters question his lifestyle and leisure choices?

Didn’t the club sanction Zac and Ridley’s trip while Darcy’s was not approved? But yes, I don’t see why he gets slammed for that unless of course he’s leaking it to the media.

I was talking about how do you know it would impact his back?

Can we ban anyone that mentions the word golf in here?

It is so farking stupid.

Not really, it has only been last year and this year where he missed a majority of games. He is 27 so if he can get healthy has more years left at some Club.

15 games in two seasons, played more than 20 games once in his entire career.
Old man injuries are going to plague him for the rest of his time it seems.
Lucky he’s got an ex Essendon champion as a manager.

Hopefully, not at Essendon.

Look, I get that we’re all frustrated, but… he played 23 games in 2021, 21 games in 2019 and 20 games in both 2016 and 2017.

Before this year he was averaging 18 games per season, which is actually pretty good.

The long term contract was silly to say the least…… if not reckless.

16 games in 2022, so that’s 6 missed- substantial.
18 games in 2023, another 5.
11 games over two years now, and we arent even at the years you consider him to actually be of concern.

So for mine I’d disagree that it’s only the last two years

Do you think that he’ll play 18 games next season ? Yes or no answer.

There is a definite trend re games played each year over his career. And it’s not positive.

No.

Christ man, I’d be surprised if he played another 18 games for the rest of his career the way things are tracking now…

Of golf…I’d say yes!

There’s two problems with Parish, he doesn’t play, and when he does he doesn’t make us a better team.
