An Essendon B&F.

i did forget about that, maybe it was the year after the bnf, like hooker he was found out a little and moved back to the forwardline.

In his post game interview says he’s outsourcing to get help with his goal kicking.

Smart man knows to seek help outside Essington

Nick Riewoldt I would say

Whoever taught Peter wright ,or better yet get Peter to help him out

I can’t remember that far back, but in 2004 he kicked 4 in round 2 and then again on ANZAC day before fading a bit from that point (in terms of goals at least).

Strange the club doesnt have someone that can work with him on that.

I know we love prematurely giving coaches extra years on their existing contracts. Caddy is one player that we absolutely must be trying to extend beyond his current deal ASAP. Tassie plus the rest will be trying to get their teeth into him.

It’s more than strange. It’s a real indictment on the club that they can’t or won’t organise a goal kicking coach for our most promising spearhead we’ve had in over a decade.

If he wasn’t already you would be very concerned

Caddy heading to Tassie during the bye weekend for a, ā€˜holiday’…be concerned.

The only time I really noticed it was the 2000 Grand final, where he kicked 0.4.

He did bag 4 goals the next year though.

Caddy is still on track for a 40+ goal season.

Part of me likes that even when he’s not playing well like yesterday, that he can still find a few goals.

But another part of me dislikes that he can’t seem to kick goals when the game is actually live, and is getting most of them when the game is dead.

Ahh yes. The duality of man.

Yea that part is frustrating, I recon he will fix that. Looks to be putting a bit of pressure on himself. I used to think Caddy was a very average mark, he seems to be doing a lot of work on it and has improved out of sight. That’s why I have faith this kid will sort out his kicking.

Could be a star. But needs to learn how to kick. He’s not there yet and I think we as supporters think he’s already an A grade superstar - which overstates his current status. He has the potential to get there but gee his kicking needs a lot of work.

No doubt we’d be offering him a long term contract.

Smart of the guy to wait it out & test the market.

It’s on Essendon to show Caddy why he should commit to us.
