#30 - Nate Caddy - thru 2031

Thats loyalty right there. He wants to see it through with this young core

Great news and given our current predicament would imagine this is very front loaded, so some flexibility with salary cap might occur when Cads really hits his prime.

Also shout out to Savio. Been consistently on the money with his mail in recent times.

Personally, I’m thrilled to bits with this. Some of the young lads at my cricket club went to Parade with him and they all vouch for the fact he’s a ripper bloke and that hasn’t changed since he got drafted. It’s a good bit of business for him and us, it keeps him well away from Tassie’s clutches and the deal takes him to Free Agency. If we are still garbage come that time I wouldn’t begrudge him leaving as I reckon most supporters probably will too.

I wonder if he knows who the new coach is? If I was in his boots I wouldn’t sign on unless I met the new coach and was happy to work with him.

Would you please leave, without a fuss, right away?

I wonder how the media grubs will spin this news as a negative for the club.

Brilliant news.

Lloyd will iron out some of the kicking technique issues and leading patterns, but this kid has explosive talent that is not common.

Signs a long term contract with Essendon.
Injury coming up soon.
Another player with poor decision making.

We’re screwed one way or another.

I’m sure there’s more going on behind the scenes, but from all reports we haven’t even started proper interviews. I’d say it’s doubtful.
No doubt they’ve informed him of the process at least, and potentially even favoured candidates.

Apparently he loves Hird so there you go.

I wonder if his contract has a clause that we must recruit better ball users.

Blitz’s own - Nate Caddy. Our sponsorship of him must have been a factor in him re-signing.

Very good news.

I imagine we’ve offered him a stack-load of money…so we can go into interviews with other trade targets and say ā€œWell you know we’ve got Caddy locked inā€.

Great news. It’s now on the club to back up the money with a serious football operation.
