This is the main thing for me.
Caddy is THE key pillar and I expect one of the key leaders of the younger core. This is a statement of intent that they are seeing this through together. We need to cut out those toxic senior players that want out and build around Caddy and the rest of these guys. Itâs their club now.

Probably. And of course⌠this is part of it.
But there also has to be some self-determination to help turn this club around. The financial benefits are great, yes, but the satisfaction and personal/professional growth of turning around a club that has been down for a long time?
He has a good 10-12 years left of his career and I think he will see better times ahead, led by himself and others in that younger bracket around him.

At the kids skill clinic I must say Nate looked like he really had something on his mind he looked a little distant. Donât get me wrong he hung around and interacted with the kids but even my son said he looked a bit sad. I was actually a bit worried that he might want out. I reckon he would have had the contract playing on his mind. Definitely a big decision to sign with us the way we are going. I was rapt to get the txt message.

He obviously will be well compensated for his decision, but you canât help that this has a âalright guys, letâs take over this clubâ feel to it.
He was very engaged with all the other young guys at the skill sessions and even lead the chorus of boos when a couple of the players said the barracked for Richmond and then Collingwood as kids.

I donât understand the 2-3 years part. That is very specific to know a coaching tenure lol.
