#30 - Nate Caddy

I agree, but he was one of the best trainers yesterday, nailing all his kicks!

This is the best part of pre-season. You better be up and about because there are heaps of blokes after your spot. No More Sacred Cows. Hopefully we see this week in week out with BDB on team selection. .

Still must be special for the kid to get onto the sport section of the paper.
not that many under 40 read it these days unless in a cafe.

I would play him round one.

Being the third tall he won’t have as much pressure on him.

His fitness levels are increasing all the time.

On effort, talent, energy and attitude the kid plays round one. Caddy won’t die wondering that’s for sure. Well worthy of a spot round 1.

Langer’s praise for Harry does not really align with the Blitz training reports I’ve read, maybe he’s trying to boost Harry’s confidence?

Re that HSun article what is with them saying Martin will play wing?
Every dog and his man knows Martin is being considered for a half back role.

Harry is just playing decoy.

I’d rather listen to Langford than to some know-all “journalist” from the Hairoiled Hun.

Sounds like Kelly is a lock on the other wing to Durham/Duursma anyway. Yuck squared.

Or just maybe he has been training with him for weeks this preseason and knows what he is talking about.

Could start but I’d rather him not feel that pressure opening bounce, like him to watch the flow being talked to on the bench.

Or maybe he just wants his buddy in the team.

Yeah because Brad Scott listens to what Kyle says in a press conference when he is picking the team

Of cause Brad would listen to his senior players. That’s why he never drops any of them.

I swear to god if kelly is selected on a wing round 1 my faith in the coaching staff would be at a all time low

Can any of the training watchers comment on his pre season? @CJohns @MattPocock18 perhaps or anyone else?

Tbh, he looked solid at training on Monday, but it’s hard to tell how that translates to playing.

Wings are graceful, they spread and fly, potatoes are solid.

I wholeheartedly agree! Last year we weren’t going to “play favourites or select injured players” and we did both!
The selections will tell us a lot about the coach imo!

I will say one thing now that I have actually been to a training session, the players that Brad keeps selecting, like Heppell and Kelly are probably two of the best trainers at the club. They both go about their business with a more mature approach than many of the others that are mucking around. I didn’t really notice any stuff ups from either and in fact commented on how good Heppell’s skills were. I think Brad is old school and likes the professionalism they bring to training and rewards them with games.
