It’s a stress fracture, not uncommon particularly in young lads built like he is.

And (b) did you read the bit about it being a common injury among young talls. I didn’t see anywhere in the article where it said “only at Essendon though”.
Settle down nino. This is annoying but isn’t really a big deal. He wasn’t going to add much value this season anyway. Get him right and ready for a full pre-season and hopefully he plays plenty of AFL next year

I reckon it’s because we play at that ■■■■ stadium Marvel that we cop so many injuries reckon if we played more MCG games the injury list won’t be so as long
Not great news, but for those people posting on here expecting a 19 year old first year player to be the saviour might want to get off the acid.
Clubs get injuries, every year, not just us.
I would rather him miss the rest of this season, get his body right and focus on the future rather than when he is a gun at 24 or 25 and missing chunks of games when we are qualifying for finals.
