If only they ran the Olympics like that;
Short people in with a chance at the high jump gold.
Athletes with little legs don’t have to run quite as far.

Quick- sign Snelling up for the decathlon!

he looks like captain america before he becomes captain america in that still

Draft camp vertical jump judge.

Reference may be too obscure, but meh.

I’ve been hoping someone would point this out.

The 100m sprint used to be for shorties, then Usain Bolt came along

The pack clunks remind me of the confidence hooker flies at the ball with, or did when he was in his prime

Alex Morgan?

I’ve seen those towers, if he can clear the second horizontal I reckon he should be easily able to mark the ball at the actual highest point

His finger is basically touching the power line. Power lines are at least 15-20m off the ground. Surely that’s an AFL record?

I waited ages for someone to make the obvious joke… and then two of them turn up at once.

Eyre got 11 cm higher than Reid … how did the possibly measure that? “Phwoar! That was a big one! Whaddy’a reckon? 15cm over the top sound right?”

I wouldn’t read too much into these results…go back through the years and you’ll find it doesn’t reflect the best players

I’ve never been able to jump. Quite sad really.

Can’t help but think that Francis did not show his best under Worsfold’s coaching. Needs a firm and disciplined hand.

Yep. Eyre is only 4cm shorter that Reid, so would have been way over the top.

Photo of Eyre in action. Device is potentially taller (the top guy is standing on a chair) but Eyre is over the top too.

Note that Reid is Vic Country and Eyre is Vic Metro. So maybe you can’t actually compare results from different sites…

He also is taller than powerlines.

Clearly cheating by standing on the chair.
