#32 - Ben McKay

And a turning circle of the QE2. Was on the wrong side of his opponent countless times…goes over the back and it’s curtains

Like most of the team gets drawn into the contest (marking contest) and gets hurt out the back

All these North fans ringing up complaining about their key back stocks

Hey north, we have one for you. Slightly soiled, but can bring some old north kit straight across. Will sell cheap

Yep, they should be cheering that he left them and came to us!
Just an added bonus they got Duursma out of it

If Ridley wasn’t injured he should be dropped this week.I would look to trade him for peanuts this year the way he is playing.

They just need to bring back TOBY PINK

Brad won’t drop him it would be admitting failure on his behalf, as he would of been the one that got him over on huge money.

Actually come to think of it, most of brads favourites are terribly out of form, other than maybe Perkins who has been slightly better.

But usually having the unequivocal backing of the coach makes you more confident and a better player, but all brads boys keep playing crap and are in terrible form. Cox still to come back, he’s another of his ffavourites people have forgotten about.

This is what happens when you recruit a coach from the poorest of minnow clubs, we end up scraping the bottom of the AFL barrel for people he is familiar with

How many times he let it over the back, when if he just showed an ounce of aggression he would have either marked it or brought down forward.

To think Brad actually had coached this guy and was so impressed he wanted to coach him again.

Just on this, he surely wasn’t this bad at North

He is obviously in terrible form but I just really struggle with these “confidence” type players that drop their heads when things aren’t going well. The aim should be to weed those blokes out and not bring more in. Especially when you are building a new team and want to positively effect standards, culture etc…

Not every player is rock solid mentally. But we seem to attract these types and/or bring out the worst in them.

Some clubs manage the confidence types well. We’re not among them.

That’s the problem when you’re a poor team like us. You’re not going to attract the top line players. You’re going to get B and C grade players by overpaying them significantly

he adds almost zero to our team . he just mopes around seemingly with no energy, almost like he doesn’t want to be there . his body language is terrible . if he needs time in the VFL to find some confidence then so be it. he’s no good to the team or himself in this form.

I reckon I’d go ok at North.

Hawthorn offered him more and Sydney wanted him too, so we weren’t alone. But it was a poor decision, especially considering we had an inside lane into his mental resilience.

North let him go and now play that comden (sp?) potato in his position. Yikes.
