Iām guessing someone will mention Snelling now.
He has absolutely no tank - Peter Wright ran him ragged in Q4 and he couldnāt keep up.
Norths Keys are absolutely putrid, the new guy Moose Finnbar can take a grab but he kicks like a 5 year old.
The annoying thing about Ben is that for about 10 weeks to start last year we saw the guy we paid that money for. He was dominant, clean marking, and showed good strength.
Heās now disappeared, and Iāve got no idea what the trigger was. Is the injury and surgery so limiting? Has he never recovered? If thatās the case give him rest, I have no problem giving guys the time they need to recover, but 3 possessions? He might as well not have played.
Who was he predominantly on and how many goals did that forward kick? Thatās most of what I care about but this getting sucked in and letting the ball go over the back is also worrying
Iām no psychologist but itās pretty clear to me that he really struggles with the mental side of the game. He just doesnāt stay engaged in the moment and his body language is horrible. He plays like a guy who is in his own head and lacks belief in himself.

Yeah could be. Both the brothers appear quite sensitive. Not a bad thing at all but not easy under the glare of the football public

Seriously? He was very, very good until 3/4 of the way last season. Thereās no doubt there is a player there.
Games that come to mind are when he destroyed Hawthorn on his debut and the Pies put a lot of attention on him for ANZAC day 24.
Heās just lost his way. He missed the entire pre-season this year and has been behind the eight ball since. We just gotta persist and hope he comes good. Also, who cares how much heās being paid.
We got him for free and we need to spend our salary cap on someone as youāre forced to use 95% per season.

The thing that annoys me is that heāll fly with the pack, let the ball over the back, fall over, then take an eternity to get back and help. I didnāt realise how slow he is till last night, itās a worry.

Hard as it is to fathom, he was much better in the first half of last year. Not outstanding but pretty good overall and was clunking.
Who he is now is probably who heās gonna be for us. Thereās a decent player in there somewhere. Weāre just not the club to bring it out in him.
