Seems to be fairly recent judging by the comments. Canât believe he is resorting to outside coaching for his kicking; wouldnât this be something the club has earmarked and worked with him to improve?
Think that was last pre seasonâŚdid notice a change in his kicking action during the season

YeahâŚme to.âŚ..His kicking went from attrociuos to absolutely sh.thouse. He should also get a handballing coach, and while heâs there life coach as well.
Given he has the hand eye coordination of a pelican with bird flu not sure all the coaching in the world can fix him unfortunately.

Unbelievable really. Nearly 30, been playing football probably since the age of 10, must have been a talented youngster to have got drafted but now needs to be taught how to kick a football.

I donât think there is a huge problem when even senior players are getting some advice on how to improve aspects of their game. It should be (and probably is) encouraged.
Ben wasnât getting a complete overhaul from what I saw in that video, either. They looked like some pretty minor tweaks to his kicking action.

Same video from pre season about 42weeks ago. He worked with Jack Grimes who founded JJâs High Performance. The video has presumably been posted to drum up some business for the coming pre season. Though using McKay maybe not the best advertisement.
I did think Benâs kicking was flatter and he did take on some riskier kicks which didnât always work outâŚhe definitely had a different technique.
