Maybe “deserves” has a bit too much mayo to it.
But he’s developed himself a bit, pops up with a goal or two (his main target, along with forward pressure) in the 2s and if he’s got the professionalism in his lifestyle now, I’d like us to try him again as an impact sub or off the IC …

We saw Lual unleash when he was handed a surprise chance. I know ADJ had games gifted in the past, but not this season. Rather roll the dice and see for sure before he gets the DCM at season end

I would also happily play ADJ out for the remainder of the year to give hime a chance to show something.

He has 2 attributes we need in pace and ball use.

But given Smart is in this week, think we can confidently say his papers have been stamped.

What use are they if you don’t get the ball. Another pathetic effort in the VFL. I would have htought if you are fighting for your career you would make some effort but no.

He should’ve been developing off the backline from the start, unfortunately it’s probably too late now.

How could he do worse than half the players in that sh!tshow tonight? Least he has some pace and skill. Cannot tell me Smartt is a better player. or Menzie and he got chances. BDB has no idea.

Oh he could have. He’d have been even worse tonight as it was a fairly physical high tackling game despite the putrid skill.

He has some amazing skills but his body was arguably the least AFL ready body I’ve ever seen. Players literally just ran through him, he’d put a single arm up instead of tackle unless it was a from behind chase.

Kako is infinitely better (I know we’re not suggesting we drop kako)
