I thought I saw Alwyn in a few packs this week as well, as opposed to just skirting the outside of them.
Clearly not his thing, but I thought it was good to see him in there trying to get the ball when it was his turn to go. Iām going to consider that an area of improvement that they have been working with him on.

Tiny increments of improvement, ADJ certainly needs to raise his hardness at the contest a bit more.
If his incremental improvements keep happening, hopefully his confidence & fitness will start to grow, & the rest of the Bombers small forward requirements click into place.
Keep for now, but as he is atm, certainly not suitable for the heat of finals footy.
Fingers crossed he steps up

I thought the same about it being his best game thus far. Stillā¦ way short of what he needs to be doing. He is not getting enough of the ball and often avoids contact, although he did manage a couple of good tackles. Not good enough at this stage, and yet we continue to carry him. Time to pick someone else, like Archie Roberts.

Itās a hard one as he does show glimpses and despite thinking he is not quite ready I donāt see anyone else banging down the door for his spot and I really donāt think our cesspool of a VFL setup is ideal for him as normally Iād suggest going back and having a run there for a couple of games

Nah, he was terrible before he got injured and has been terrible at VFL level. I would bring in Roberts.

Davey needs to be tethered to 2MP.
I want to see him shadow him everywhere he goes and not be more than 5-10m away. He will absolutely rack up the kicks
