We needed to squeeze jones in some how
Probably fitness related, that’s the only plausible reason I can come up with.
It’s about compliance. He’s refusing to give up. He’s not complying with our leadership.
Solly doesn’t rate that type of effort
I think he should be playing, and clearly put in a huge effort today.
At the same time in 5 AFL matches thus far, he’s only laid a total of 5 tackles.
Prior to today, he’d laid 10 tackles in 8 vfl games.
Was absolutely something he needed to work on (and signs today show that’s coming along nicely).
tank is getting deeper too, saw him running all over the ground today.
He’s a young guy who has to work on his fitness, positioning, team setup and balance.
They often find themselves in and out of games at the start of their careers, no great shock.
ATM he is playing in a winning side which I think helps him far more than playing in a dysfunctional AFL side that is getting belted most weeks.
Got the easiest goal of his career today. It’s on the AFL website.
Ridiculous umpiring but deserved it for his efforts throughout the day.
looked but couldn’t see anything - can you post a link?
Just found it again. Go to Mannequin challenge on fox footy.
Link?
I don’t think I’ve seen a worse umpiring decision than Huss being allowed to play on.
I mean it’s got nothing on an umpire calling play on them giving a 50m because the bloke on the mark… Moved.
true, values effort without the ball apparently, explains why parish and merret are in the side
Huss was sent back to the seconds after kicking a couple of goals because of his forward defensive work. Gets back in today and his defensive work has been awesome. 6 tackles halfway through the last. This kid is very coach able and fair play to him. Great game.
Won us the game with his effort in the last. Just beautiful.
Massive effort with multiple tackles to get us the goal.
He’s a keeper, that’s for sure!
what he lacks for in fitness, he makes up for in nous
