Plenty of father son prospects have been overlooked over the years, so the “if it wasn’t for his dad” stuff is pretty moronic.

He would have to be the least hyped player on the list. Jackson Merrett had more support from the fans.

With Ham and (reportedly) Jok selected ahead of him in recent weeks, it seems like he’s near the end of the road.
A shame, I always thought he was good at AFL level - especially the ability to hit a player on the lead. But rarely dominated at VFL, and so hasn’t really made case for senior selection this year.
