Yet another example of how well we have done out of late picks and cheap trades. Last year Wright and Hind. Last 2 mid season drafts Durham and Snelling. Guelfi pick 76 (2017). Throw in Draper PSD.

If the AFL gave an award like in the NBA for a 6th man of the year I reckon Guelfi would win it.
Probably to his own detriment that he is so versatile. Great resigning and a great pickup back when he was drafted now.

Signing him up now, takes both WA teams out of the picture. No doubt WCE and Freo are privately seething. His signature is another buy into We Are Essendon, to borrow from Mero’s other thread, and another vote of confidence in what Truck and Cara are building.
Guelfi, he doesn’t play tall, but he plays tough. Not a star, but the way he is improving week by week is a joy to watch unfold. His last game shows he has added a couple of weapons to his arsenal, and making himself more versatile makes him more likely to play games. Many people on here name him as one of the first to be dropped to make way for others. Guelfi says pffft to that. Someone else can his place over his cold, prone body. He is in the team and for now he remains.
