You know that’s not what anyone is implying, or how it would work. Managers would be in discussions all year. A lot of these trades are done well before the trade period starts

It’s a ridiculous suggestion that he’s told them he’s going at all let alone that a trade would be done at this stage.
And it’s ridiculous for exactly the reason that has led to it being suggested… you tell your club you’re out and you get dropped and miss 9 weeks of match payments?
Whether or not a manager might be fielding (or seeking) discussions with another club is another story but that’s not what has been suggested.

If there are no takers at the end of the year, pay him out.
Hard to believe we signed him for two years until the end of 26 there was no need to do it.

If he played on Bailey Dale, then he did a reasonable stopping job.
Wonder if he could get a tagging role through the midfield if Setters no longer up to it or gets moved on!?

All these comments pretending that we have an actual AFL team to field and delist/trade anyone who doesn’t have Daicos like stats.
At this rate we’ll be fielding a VFL level team next year and beyond
