#37 Nic Martin - all of the extension, pls

He’ll get it. He had 27 and kicked 5. He’ll probably poll Brownlow votes too

Yeah I know, but it’s the vibe, just listen to the commentators

He could never have a game as good (stat wise) again and still have a great career.

Absolutely phenomenal, looked right at home. If only he had a few more friends

I don’t listen to them much, but I get what you mean, although it is an amazing Cinderella story that they might decide to go for:

Not even on an AFL list 24 days ago…

I hope so, you can’t ask too much of Martin than 27 disposals and 5 goals. Sometimes a good player is ignored for the vibe sadly. I hope not though. I also wonder if they give votes when a team gets belted.

There is zero chance he doesn’t get the nomination this week. (Over anyone that’s already played at least)

It was a great game from him, what a debut! A bright point to come from otherwise quite a crap day.

I would say so too if they were rubbish possessions, but it’s hard to ignore goals in a side that was belted.

I know you don’t disagree, we know it’s all about the media angle, and what they think makes the best story for the AFL.

Yeah I just get cynical when it comes to the AFL. I will be wrapped (and it would be well deserved) if he gets the nod this week.

In the intraclub, he felt like the best player out there. But, the squad was going 3/4 pace and Martin was fighting for a list spot, so it made sense.

Being our best player by a mile today made far less sense.

He’s a legit talent.

If “the squad was going at 3/4 pace” put a qualifier on how he looked a few weeks ago…

Fair call.

His game was pretty similar to the practice match where he bobbed up and got 4.

Bandwagon starts behind me!
