Im sorry to do this but this so called accurate set shot has cost us 8 points now by missing goals from 30 metres out on a slight angle.
Im really disappointed. He seems to struggle with the pressure.

knew we had lost this when he went to the backline
Despite the kicking inaccuracy I thought he was great
Bottler
Can’t handle the pressure
Agree 100% he is part of the soft and mentally weak Essington! He will wilt in a finals series
Will never get the chance to.
13 goals in 5 games makes it back to back 50+ goal seasons. The last player to do that at EFC was Matthew Lloyd 2007-08.
He does that often in the last 2 mins of qtrs
Best game in while but jeez the he chokes a bit in the big moments
Langford is the least of our worries
We just don’t have anyone kicking 70 goals to go with his 50
Not often. He’s generally an excellent kick, but he almost always has one bad miss at some point. It happened to be at the worst possible point on Friday, but he’s not generally a choker.
Our worst choker is Jake Stringer. When he has a shot at goal that really matters, in the sense of having the game riding on it, you can absolutely rely on him to miss every single time.
Langfords cost us 8 points this uear by missing two very easy set shots in the final minutes of close games this year.
Our ball movement is killing our forwards and putting our backs under pressure.
This was a point in time where, if I had to nominate any player in our team to have a shot for goal after the siren, it would be Langford.
Not any more…
There needs to be an angry player in the forward line that hates losing and will give the rest of the forwards a boot. Langford is a senior and should be that player, but can never be.
That player is caddy
Another player that can take a contested grab wouldnt be bad either
what other game?
Collingwood game only cost us 2 points.
I reckon Caddy’s miss was worse. Should have gone a drop punt instead of trying a checkside
Caddys played 4 games
Think his doing alright for 4 games sure he will learn from it but the frustrating part is understandable
I’m just saying if we’re blaming blokes for missing gettable shots late in the game, Caddy’s miss was worse than Langford’s. But that won’t be the narrative on here, because Caddy is the new shiny toy
