Congratubabylations!
His partner looks a little like a female The. Congrats
If she can clunk and kick like the old man, the AFLW team approach of just get it to Bonnie can persist into the next generation.
We take him for granted now.
Vital leader of the forward line. Composed, sees creative options, executes the kick…a teammate has an easy set shot.
I hope the opposition don’t realise how much of a lynch pin he is.
I am never sure at this time of year if we are getting a good or average Langford year.
I think the last moments of the game where he switched back and steadied us might be the most positive indicator @primmer1978
Scott used to always send Petrie down back as a plus 1 late in games after Norf hit the front. He used to mop up the desperate oppo kicks forward til the early morn.
Looks like Langers is designated for that role .
So true.
His Importance is underestimated, he is agile, intelligent, Has a bit of mongrel in him, and “Moves like Jagger”.
Players like him don’t need to be seen to be heroes to be heroes.
They just go about it, and are good at going about it.
So was it ever confirmed he was carrying an injury through the second half of the season last year?
just found a new dispensary
Didn’t he go straight into hospital after season end to trim a meniscus in his knee so there’s that. Looked to me in one or two visions post bye he was carrying a dodgy hip though.
4 - 6 week hammy the club has announced
well that sucks
Essendon can confirm that Kyle Langford sustained a right hamstring strain during Friday night’s clash against Hawthorn.
Scans conducted on Saturday morning revealed the strain, with the recovery period expected to be 4-6 weeks.
The Club will provide further updates on Langford’s recovery as he progresses through his rehab program.
Guess we won’t see him till ANZAC day.
Thankfully we also have a bye in this period.
Not surprised
As Caldwell said out one solider another solider in
Almost the worst injury we could have received outside of Merrett. Our forward line is now completely toothless.
Also big thanks to Sean Murphy and the medical team for kicking off the season with a 100% record this season for recurring injuries, season has started in usual fashion.
What year?
Ridley will be back for Port unless he has concussion issues only missing Langford
9 unavailable so far and we have played 1 game.
Best case scenario is 4 weeks (29 days) from the injury would be a return to play against Melbourne in gather round at the earliest on April 12th so he would essentially miss only Adelaide and Port games.
You’d think the safe move if he doesn’t get up for the Dees game that we wouldn’t take him to Perth to play WC so Anzac Day would be the most likely.
