#4 Kyle Langforward

Looked a bad one. I’m not expecting to see him for a couple of months.

Hopefully they give Edwards a crack. Sink or swim time

Potentially, I tuned out of all AFL news etc after September.

How is a hamstring 8 weeks?!

How long is a piece of string?

Apply the Essendon tax.

I’m expecting crickets from the club for the next month then some bozo in the media will report that he has suffered a setback and then the club to finally release a statement saying he is on track to play in round 10

Lloyd missed the best part of a season with one.

Buckley’s career was cut short by chronic hamsting strains.

Career :expressionless:

Lloyd’s wasn’t just a hamstring strain. He was ridden into the ground by a Doggies defender and had his hamstring tendon ripped off the bone, requiring surgery to repair.

Anzac Day recall

Yep, I was sitting right behind the doggies bench on the wing where it happened as he lunged for a mark.

We actually heard Garry Zimmerman say “■■■■, Lloyd in trouble here” or similar.

He got back to some good footy, but was always a bit more rigid and his incredible dynamic power and spring were permanently diminished.

Luckily we picked up a forward with Langford and Wright going down and Stringer leaving

My guess…

Langford will be marked as 4-6 weeks for the next 2-3.

He will be making “great progression” and expected to be back soon in the injury reports.

He will then be 2 weeks away for 3 weeks.

This strain will be an 8 week hammy. Just be honest… It’s a grade 3 tear. It’s high so recovery is longer. The club always lies.

Didn’t he a do a hammy in round 1 like 2 years ago.?
Slow learner young Kyle.

I spent the best part of my life with one.

Spot on.

Knowing our luck Caddy will probaly miss didnt he get hurt against Hawks?

Caddy is fine/will play for sure.
He copped a knock to his knee and had a bit of trouble running throughout the game. Was sore the following day but has progressed.
