#4 Kyle Langforward

■■■■■■■ Dodoro…

If that’s true, he should have been brought back via the vfl. But Brad knows best I guess….

Thread going a bit early

He can’t get separation from his man, and teams are playing him tight to stop his impact.

He needs to lift.

Yes. In the Magoos !

Langford will come good. Give him two more weeks and he will be killing it.
Edit: unless he gets injured again

Expect him to lift next game he has had 2 games to settle in, he must find some form again

Um, what? I never said Langford sub. I said the list wasn’t to blame for Scott playing Langford early. We had options.

And in the pre Anzac Day changes thread I called for him to be brought back via the VFL.

Apologies.

I read that as you having him as sub.

Yes indeed. He should have played those two games in the Magoos to find his form there, instead of being brought back prematurely and gifted with an Anzac Day position he hadn’t earned. Anzac Day is hard enough, without carrying passengers.

Agreed.

However he certainly makes our forwardline look much steadier

Have faith in THE LANG

I’m going to double down and say as an underdone player returning from injury that the club selected for a finals-like game (anzac day). Lanfords output of x2 reasonable quarters really exceeded what would be possible. And given he didnt reinjure that was a bonus.

our forward line loses structure with him not there, but he’s also been incredibly out of form since back

Have we even been playing him forward?
Seems to line up on the wing (or even in defence as today) more so.

not as a true forward nah, but the rest of them seem to get dragged up higher when he’s absent

Oh I completely agree with you. I’d keep him forward (was more using position to help justify why he’s so out of form).

Bloke has kicked 94 goals over the last 2 years. Was finally settled as a forward.
In comes Brad again.

Brad trying to turn THE in to some sort of utility player.

He is a forward, and we are better when he plays there.

C’mon Brad, seriously.

He seems to have lost that magic touch as a forward . Maybe he is taking the #1 tall defender these days. Yes, I know he is Brads #7 defender sent down back to defend a lead. Is he playing as a high half forward. ?

He hasn’t had a sniff forward in the last 2 weeks thus why they are trying to get him into the game.
