We’ve let any toughness and grunt leave the club and retained the gliders.
Seriously though, when the leadership group has Redman, Martin and Mc Grath what hope have we got.
They will sack the coach (rightly) but in the end the gliders survive again.

For now, he’s in my “one to keep” list.
This includes
Caddy, Kako, Robert’s, Clarke, Reid, Durham, Martin, Hayes, Caldwell - that’s right, I only have 10 players from the squad who I can say will be with us in 5 years.
Too early to call on Sharp, Kondo, Robey, Farrow, Gerreyn, Visentini, Bryan, Nguyen, Huss, Day-Wicks and Unwin.
Im confident Sharp will be a keeper

Genuine question mark on Reid.
I know it probably helps him immensely when Ridley is in side, but you can’t even plan to have Ridley as part of the future now.
I dunno, the jury is out on Reid….is it because the ball comes in so easy, or because Reid simply isn’t much good…..but he just doesn’t look like the budding star we banking on.

I’d be certain of this if he as at another club.
It would be on the supremely unlikely side given his injury history and years in the system.
All of the best defenders have that aggression in them.
He clearly does not.

Ports physicality shocked us, not doubt, they were all over us like chicken pox., Zak was no exception, but he got straight back into the ring and tried very hard each time. Our youngest but just about toughest defender

No tackles as a small defender from two games, when the ball has lived in our D50. Great to go kick chasing but at the moment we need some defence on the ground from our smalls. No exception.
Only positive from the game was Johnson, Kako, Roberts, Caddy and at times I thought even Nguyen did some nice things. Just have to keep pushing this young core. Yes, it means keep playing Kondo as well. Introduce Farrow this week and bring in Robey in 3-4 weeks or so. Hoping Sharp is ok. Its this group though that has a body language of giving a ■■■■…. I will take it
