Iād be less concerned with throwing a 2nd game 19 year old under the bus and be more focused on SDBās real love children in Redman, Langford, Perkins and others who constantly get away with insipid efforts and have been in the system for a long while.
At least Perkins has been dropped before. Redman & Langford both epitomise post 2001 essendon. Soft as ā ā ā ā when the heat is on. Least Stringer had fitness as an excuse for fading in games, THE is just ā ā ā ā ā ā ā soft.
Throwing under the bus? Iām saying i didnāt think his vfl form warranted a call up, plus he got a full game where most newbies are the sub under brad and he didnāt get subbed out when he barely touched the ball in the first half, seh did instead.
I understand ones a forward and ones a winger but seh played small forward most of his career and all his touches in the first half were clean, plus he was great last week. The day wicks call is similar to the Alwyn Davey ones in the past, brad gets a like for random players and plays them ahead of time.
Perkins is a definite favourite, he had to barely touch it for 2 months to get dropped for 1 week last year. Iām just saying day wicks might be lucky and already be one of brads lads, itās not any criticism of the kid himself, itās a criticism of brad. His strange selection behaviours are continuing, where he has certain favourites and certain scapegoats that arenāt given a proper chance to perform.

Noone is saying El-Hawli is some insane gamebreaker.
Theyāre asking for him to be given a chance.
Being used as sub/subbed in 4/5 games obviously isnāt doing that.
I didnāt think it would be such a difficult thing to grasp.

And nobody is expecting him to be. Heās out performing who has replaced and weāre just asking for him to get a decent go at it. Jones has had 3 years under delivering yet gets opportunity after opportunity in contrast.

So if a player has a poor pre season, that means he shouldnāt get a decent chance at it during the year?
Not at all also what heās done at vfl level counts.
I see him as a player to debut next year along with Vigo
So we hold him back a year when he is clearly ready to play AFL football? Why would you do that?
