#42 - Jayden Nguyen

That was a mistake, he should have said EFC has played a detrimental part in his development. :joy:

I like the jumper, the sash is a bit droopy but nice and prominent and a great shade of red, it stands out, while he Dutton logo is hidden away.

Clearly his nick name should be Juice:

Vietnamese Walla → VW → beetle → Beetlejuice → Juice…

Or via Juice Nguyen

(Juice Newton)

I know Nguyen didnt play as many champs games as others, but its still a decent effort.

Isnt the Morrish Medal a curse now?

Which shoukd mean that Lindsay is a bust for Melbourne, and that given we probably would have drafted him with our pick 9 if we kept it, further means that we dodged a bullet with pick 9, which further means Rosa is a genious to have had that foresight and to then trade out of the pick 9 disaster. Case closed on that debate.

Although I think Moorcroft was a Morrish Medalist, so that’s something

I like the red Puma logo.

Yeah they got the red perfect. Puma always nail the colours it was the same with the tigers and giants when they came on board.

the tigers change was great. i read that it was their board that decided they need to make a change as the colours were slowly turning more mustard than yellow and the black was fading to a grey. their guernsey and merchandise looked fantastic when they made the change to the brighter yellow.

Maybe Trav Colyer is a good comparison. Small, explosive, kicking ‘ok’. I think he looks to tackle a bit harder, hopefully he has bigger hands

But only in the morning.

Quietly hoping that Nguyen gets the call up alongside Kako in place of Menzie or if Gresham falls out of form

Another Blitzer, @BLOODSTAINED_DEVILS that has drifted off into the unknown. He/she would come up with some very quirky nicknames.

Have a mate who always used to use obscure links to come up with nicknames. It’s silly but amusing. I thought it was a bit like some parts of Cockney rhyming slang. Mate → China plate → China

I loved the simple way Weary Dunlop got his nickname

Dunlop → Tyres → tires-> weary.
