The best we can hope for is he gets his fitness up to standard for after the mid-season bye. He’s pushing ■■■■ uphill to be in shape for the early rounds.

Can’t wait to see him out playing again.
Because Walla is part of our DNA. His brilliance is what sets us apart and what inspires others in our team. Look at his effect on Jake, Harry, 2MP and our mids streaming forward. Whan Tippa get hold of that ball … basically time stops. Because he can do things we and the oppo don’t expect. And he kicks goals.
And that is Essendon. Walla captures it and reminds us why we’re different. Legend.
