The more you say stuff the sooner it will happen, surely.
Tippa is cooked, wonât be at the club next year, probably should not of wasted this year clogging space on the list instead of a kid(should of been about the future) .
Iâm baffled how Tippa managed to become LESS fit the longer the season went on, since playing the first 2 or 3 rounds?
I think him being part of the squad would be invaluable for the younger first nation lads. Yes he could have done that in some support role but realistically, we were never challenging this year so why not give him a shot at getting back to afl standard?
If he retires I hope the club keep him around in some capacity.
Either way, thanks Walla
Standards, or lack of probably.
I love an optimist!
Ha thatâs true.
Basically we are having the opposite season to the Hawks and everyone is talking about how great they are.
We played Hurls last year in a send off game and he was nowhere near it.
Scored a goal and it was awesome.
I imagine having a fellow Tiwi islander who knows what it takes to make it to AFL level and is an idol would have been amazing for Munkara. I think that the Davey boys and Tex have also benefited from having Walla around for another season.
We rolled the dice, it didnât work, but the costs were minimal and I for one was happy to get to see him play a few more games in the red and black.
The winning point in the VFL the other week was a nice moment in whatâs been a wonderful career. Itâs a pity we couldnât get more out of Tippa, but given where heâs come from 130 odd games of high quality AFL footy is a remarkable achievement and a great story.
Based on Heppellâs news today, he is so getting another year.
Coaches havenât given a fck all year about selection integrity, but now weâre going to beat that drum to deny a cult favourite one final memory.
This club named a list clogger team to lose to a middling team by 21 fcking goals. Fck off.
I know heâs cooked, let him run onto the G one final time and hear the crestfallen, misery stricken crowd cheer one last time. Name him sub.
Time to sack staff that dont perform
Hope this applies to the coach!

During the pre-season there is lots of running and fitness work. Once the season starts most of the training during the week is maintenance i.e. lighter training getting over niggles, keeping the legs turning over and keeping touch.
As much as we love Tippa, this is unfortunately very true.
Its a short sighted viewpoint.
We have a collection of young indigenous players in their 1st/2nd years who will have benefitted from Tippa being at the club.
Seeing if he could regain some of that old magic on field was worthwhile, even if the cost was a list spot.
I do believe he should retire now though.
I hope the decision is made.
I dont think Munkara benefitted. Apparently he is gone already (Mozzie style)
Where is this coming from?
Really ???
with that many indigenous kids finally back on the list it was very much about the future.
