Still carrying a fair bit around the middle, Iād say 6-7kgs too much. The black training jumper definitely hides it, but much more noticeable in the red clash strip they wore today. Iām pleased heās back playing and great he got through and kicked a couple of goals, but to me an Anzac Day comeback is still long oddsā¦
Is a semi fit Walla better than a fully fit Ham?

Really good to see him out there todayā¦ played more than I thought he would.
But if weāre honest he still needs to shed a few more kgs before playing AFL.
He looked slow today so imagine in an AFL game what itād look like.

I donāt think that is a surprise though. It is just another step forward in his return, he still has work to do of course. 2 more VFL matches with varying minutes id say.
He looked so good and classy at times. You could tell it was his first game back. But get few more games into him, shed a couple kgs, get a bit more confidence in his body and heāll be ready to play. He was hard at it at times. Was nice to see the EFC boys who were there today get around him at qtr time and yell out to him after a nice last qtr goal and give him a thumbs up. Tippa acknowledged them back with a thumbs up back. Seems to go by Tony these days.
