#43 Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti - WALLA MACCA TIPPA - till 2022

He is our best player.

Most reliable, doesn’t panic, hits a target, has a crack, defends, tackles, attacks. Freaking gem.

The St Kilda supporters behind me were drooling over him and said they should forget about recruiting O'Meara and try to get "that guy".

Bwahahahhahah O’meara won’t be going to the saints if he leaves.

Then I jumped in the car and on the radio they mentioned that he has been linked to the Saints. Probably every team has, but the talk is the Saints are in the mix.

I’m actually shocked that he hasn’t started in the middle, not even for one centre bounce, for the entire season. Surely, it’s only a matter of time.

He's the best kick in the team, and will still be when everyone comes back. On the year to date, upgrading him to the senior list is the easiest list management decision we've had to make in years.

Just hope the Curse Of The Elevated Rookie doesn’t hit him as hard as it hit Smack, dalgleish, and Ambrose.

EFC players in recent years have not had a great time the year after being elevated from the rookie list.

Keep this stuff out of this thread!

I expect now that Sheeds is back that the curse will be broken and he’ll follow the Mark Johnson/Damien Peverill/Dean Rioli path.

He got caught a couple of times today and I don’t mind that, keep taking the game on. He has such a great ability to get clear when with the ball.
Some of his passes today were just ridiculous! Imagine him our team next year when the ball doesn’t get bombed into the backline as much and there is more 2 way running.

We are yet to see the best of him. That’s scary.

Too good for this level.

That hand ball to a running player while being tackled on the ground was vintage Hird.

I’m going to ignore all of them and think of Baguley.

Can we stop talking about need Green or Matera now!

The best mthrfkn post all night.

Well done to you sir. You are winning!

Can’t help but think he is going to be a level better again next year.

Could use some more endurance (or a bit more footy nous to work out when to expend the energy he does have). Could use a bit more belief in his ability to win games off his own boot. Could use another pre-season with the lads just working out exactly what each other is going to do.

I know this year has been a massive step up for him. Reckon he can step up again in 2017.

I’m actually glad we havent stuck him in the forward pocket until now. I think if he hadn’t got a feel of the pace of AFL, and put him in the forward pocket he would be running around in circles. He was able to be composed because he has felt the heat of the game in the backline for first half of the season.

Put him in the guts!

100%.

Just got to give that a crack don’t we?!?

I want a gif of him holding his jumper up after he kicked his first

That bit where he had the ball 10m out, and had both the time and the composure to sell the dummy before snapping it through.

That’s what we haven’t had in our forward line for… I can’t even remember how long.

If TIPPA goes forward the ball would never get to him.
On the WING!

Jesus no. He’s the run and carry link up that brings everyone into the game through the middle. He’s the spark.
