He cracked in but he turned it over an awful lot. And they were bad turnovers, a number of forward handball errors which really hurt you.
Persist though, has some tools. Bring in nguyen to play forward too. Start to try and get some heat on the opposition back 6

I don’t rate him but that’s the first time I’ve thought he was ok and looked to have some ability.

Nothing wrong with his workrate or willingness to take the game on. Skills need work but right now he’s doing enough.

Terrible turnovers and butchered the ball more often than not.
But he cracked in, is still so young and has some tools to work with.
Just keep playing him.

Busy start with 7 possessions in Q1, but terrible second half with just four. Did some really nice things but also made some terrible decisions with the ball.
To be honest, played very much like he has at VFL level. Showed some very good signs but some WTF moments, and not really enough. I think there is a future player, but he’s not there yet.

Everyone was diabolical after half time. Along with blakiston, biggest positive out of the game
he has some tools yes, but those very bad turnovers have been a constant thing, even at vfl level.

Made some awful errors. Wouldn’t be upset if he was dropped. There’s more there to work with though than I thought during pre-season.
