Such an intriguing player is McNernan.
He has shown before that he does have a good player buried in him somewhere, he just appears to not be arsed whether or not that player shows itself at AFL level sometimes.
Is the type of player who can set the world on fire and practically win you a game like he did against Hawthorn in Round 1 or he could come out and be a passenger who struggles to get his hands on the ball at all and goes a long way to losing you a game.
Is the ultimate high risk / high reward type player.
Here’s hoping he is the latter should he get the nod tomorrow.
Would love to see him come in & play a big part in us getting over the line in a final.
