Well look at the changes at the club recently, made with the intent of improving the handling of our indigenous players.

All with the aim of creating an environment to foster and mentor our young players.
There is intent from the top down, that intent might be translating into tangible results.

But if there is even just one thing we have learned about EFC over the last two decades, it is that they are very good at wasting our time.

Considering all the other duds we have given 3 or 4 years to I’d be very annoyed at the club if they cut him after 1 year.
Another pre season and year of VFL next year and he will be ready for AFL in 2025 round 1 IMO
Imagine what Munkara will develop into, if he has the sort of time to develop that Jackson Merrett had at the club.
Munkara unfortunately doesn’t have a gun brother at the club
But he’s also a CatB rookie, and can remain so for another 2 years.
Absolutely no chance he isn’t given at least those 3 years (as long as he wants them).

His goals came after everyone would have switched over to the AFL game.
Until that point he hadn’t played too well, fair chance he might get suspended and gave them a goal with a silly free kick when we had the ball.
Has still shown far more than most would have expected this year. Excited to see him progress
His progression has been a big highlight of 2023 for sure.
