26 goals to 5 in the ‘84 prelim.
And Ronnie kicked two of those five.

Slight correction Wim. Ronnie kicked three of those five and they were all before half time. I have dragged this photo of the half time scoreboard out many times but here it is again. I remember taking it and saying “All 20 goals scored by Essendon players!”. I did feel for Ronnie that day.

My favourite Bombers game of all time. I wasn’t there that day but I was doing somersaults listening to the broadcast. Baker and Vander going berserk in the 1st quarter, the stuff of wet dreams.
