#45 Conor McKenna - the first six years

I’ve read countless column inches speculating about how he got it, that he might have broken the rules, did he train while sick, what does this mean for Essendon / other teams / the season, when will the grand final be, what about hubs etc etc.

Guess how many words I have read expressing sympathy to him because he has a potentially deadly disease, or hoping him and his family are OK? Zero.

Bottom feeding scum.

lol, okay mate

i reckon it’s pretty simple. follow the AFL/club guidelines and your chances of catching covid 19 and derailing a season are prettu slim

Can we get Hartley back from Hawthorn?

He might be a little preoccupied right now

Yep they will just have every club go into a hub with no outside contact and play games 7 days a week to catch it up if have to.

They are actually allowed to visit family (his foster family is just that) and they are allowed to go out of their house (an open house is allowed). So where exactly did he breach the rules that you know of?

Give it a rest WOB, your attacks on him are really quite pathetic, you are better than this mate.

Worth remembering that there’s a large body of evidence that even mild bouts of covid can cause significant and lasting lung damage in some cases. That’s not something you can suffer and still be up to the physical demands of top level football.

Any case of covid in a player needs to be considered a potentially career-ending condition.

It’s not like he won’t already be speaking with the Chief Health Officer on a regular basis

especially thouse with asthma i’d imagine.

perhaps @Chris_1993 and @Albert_Thurgood would shed some light.

Shades of the saga season is starting to creep in…

Good idea, it will stop the stupidity for a while at least.

I actually really like BT . His role is the comic idiot but this is good solid stuff from him .

I guess it’s better for this to happen at the start of the season and not the back end, chances are other teams are going to go through similar situations in the lead up to finals

If the 7 who were in gym together with him were our core 7 defenders + Ambrose that’d make for a patched up backline if enforced.

B: Guelfi McBride Laverde
HB: Gleeson Zerk Fantasia
7th: Zaka

Our new forward half game would hopefully keep it up there protecting our backline, albeit halfback is still strong. We could still win & it would be joyous.

Fark Carlton.

Will Gill grant us top ups again? can’t wait to see cooked/retired players wearing Essendon jumpers again.

I don’t think covid flew through the window. it is likely, that there has been a breach. if their hasn’t, then fair enough, I will put my hand up and say it’s unfair critisism.

my annoyance comes from IF it was a breach, it was clearly avoidable and that’s not just a little mistake. i think is the most likely scenario

i guess we’ll see
