There is next to no covid in Perth. WA is incredibly isolated.
The covid probs in Australia are in Sydney and Melbourne. If the AFL was serious we would have used QLD, SA or WA/NT to host the comp.

If it happened to a Collingwood player would Eddie ask for the season to be called off?

If the AFL make us play the next 2 games without those 8 players rather than being “agile” with a floating fixture then we should petition. This was always going to happen without too much disadvantage, hence the floating fixtures and shortened quarters. You telling me if this was Coll that Eddie wouldn’t fight it? We’re sitting ducks after the previous saga but we’ve paid our dues and enough is enough. We need to make up the 1 or 2 games within the next 4 months (fair enough) but we’re not gifting games to our arch rivals because of a worldwide pandemic!!

HB: Francis, Zerk-Thatcher, Ham
Might have to play Dyl as a shutdown small defender. Gleeson, Paddy and Francis are all capable and solid AFL backmen. Zerk is only young and you probably have to put Ham there for some rebound and ball use…
