Especially now with 2MPs injury, Edwards is basically the back up to Caddy, Jones and Langford.

Iā€™d think initially heā€™ll be a straight backup to Langers, Caddy, Jones or even Perkins, if either of those go down, if weā€™re to go with the 2 rucks (which I reckon we should as a default). Kako, Gresham, Perkins and Martin as the pockets and flanks. 2MP a possible other option to Caddy or in a one ruck setup if itā€™s e.g. wet. But heā€™s now crocked.

I just hope the Club has Edwards on a concentrated conditioning programme right now, to build him up a tad and give him an extra 10% speed. All going well heā€™ll be kicking the door down to start in 6 weeks or so, backup/sub/off the IC till then I expect.

I like this idea.

Good for so many reasons re mentoring, coaching and just excellance. Perkins benfits with some tough love and Edwards gets to do a Martin. No gifts / all merit based.

How many did he finish with yesterday in the praccy? Had 2 pretty early on.

We need goals and he has shown this in his limited opportunities.
