#45 - Tom Edwards thru 2026

Twin sisters too I see.

This comment seems set up for some sort of Stallion gif I’m sure lol

What’s math? Did you mean maths?

The crowd should stand in unison if any of his scores puts a Fibonacci number on the scoreboard.

It’s unforgivable to use American words when a perfectly acceptable Australian alternative exists.

I gave a minion at Subway a bollocking for saying he’d be with me momentarily…when here, that means “for a moment”, not “in a moment”.

Too much TV, what can I say.

Do you think they will bother to do that if his first score is a point?

Credit to him, he is having a real crack out there

Bombing the ball on his head time and again is crucifying him

Currently the no. 1 ranked Essendon player on the ground for pressure

3.1 and 3 tackles in the forward line of a team getting flogged is a pretty good return. While the loss would sting, he must be pinching himself. Well done young man.

I don’t suppose he has a brother who can play full back?

being a forward means he won’t need to pinch himself…plenty of defenders are more than capable of doing it for him.

So close.

It appears I overestimated him.

Keep him in. He’s hungry for it.
So many people (Like Perkins) that should be dropped for Langford when he returns.

Kinda makes you wonder how relevant and effective a footy program is. Maybe because it’s Essendon, but maybe it’s a broader insight.
The list of player examples goes on from how a player is drafted, traded or potentially coming back from injury.
We’ve seen immediate impact from Martin, Durham and now Edwards to name a few and they don’t look too exposed at the top level all the while without being educated, experience, training at length within our/a program.

Is it Essendon or the AFL in general?
Do we unnecessarily overthink football? Or the complete opposite?
Are we miles off completely understanding the tactics and strategies of our sport? Or have we peaked our analysis of the sport and this is what it is and will continue to be until rule changes require new analysis?

Really liked his game

A real find. Works his arse off. Never stops. Kicks accurately. A keeper. I just hope he doesn’t injure himself.

Had a dip and finished nicely when needed. Really solid debut game. Thought he showed a fair bit

Now you’ve done it. :man_facepalming:

I thought he looked like a state league player in the first half, but he was good late in the game.

Ah remember a few weeks ago there was posters in here saying don’t sign him off the back off one practice game and to keep Baldwin (who is injured again)
