What is amazing about us is we look at a guy who can kick a few goals as if it’s some kind of Jesus miracle like parting the Red Sea whereas most clubs just accept that as what normal is supposed to be

Came in and gave it all while a few others stood around and watched him. An indictmant on a few of our senior players, and you are one of them Mr MaGoo.

Edwards played a great game
He’s a great X factor addition to our forward lineup.
I see him more as a medium small as he is quick enough and terrific at ground level. I put him more in the Ginnivan bracket without the punchable personality. If Perkins put up a game like this we would be thrilled.
He shouldn’t be expected to be the second tall.
We need either another tall or at least Jones to play far more minutes in the forward line.
Best case for Tom is that he turns out similarly to Miochek, a slim quick player with a good overhead mark and a knack for the goals.
He’s on track for a 60 goal season at this rate if he plays the rest of the year. Keep him in and anyone else that’s willing to throw their body at the ball to win it.

Really like him, knows how to position himself up forward, bit more size to him and will only improve
GotAaq into good positions and made the of limited opportunities. It was unfortunate he didn’t get to show us his marking skills, but stll found ways to impact the game. I am thrilled for him.

I see him more similar to Bailey Fritsch but I get what you mean.
A post a few back talks about footy programs being over rated and I agree when guys like Martin, Durham and Edwards can come in on short notice and perform.
Edwards strikes me like those country footballers who are freaks. Just know where to be when, great goal sense and generally just good at everything. Typically need fck all coaching.
I’m sure he will have to pour over hours of footage and over analyse everything and we will probably wreck him….just let him play and he will kick goals.
Can absolutely have a forward line with him and Langers both in it.

Really impressive debut. He is slight but he certainly attacks the ball with intent and he is courages in the air.

A bloke who has trained with us maybe 8 weeks, comes into the team and shows us more than blokes who have been on the list for 5 years.

Yeah fair enough. Just looked at photos of Mihocek from his debut and he is slightly bigger built than I thought.
Would you accept a comparison between Tom and Durham when Duzz was drafted? Point being that he can build a bit of muscle to hold his own in marking contests with AFL bodies.
Edwards is a few years older than Duzz was when drafted, hopefully a (supposed) more professional environment allows him to excel physically
Love this pick. Edwards has 8+ hereonend years written all over him. Hard at the ball commitment, finesse, sharking ability and accuracy on goals.
Smart, already settled will help with team balance and can //// WANTS to play.
