Been named as CHB in the VFL which should be an indication of the short term hole he is likely to fill.
I hope we do see him transition forward in the longer term. Been prolific in the VFL.

Apparently will be playing down back for us in the VFL tomorrow. Only kicked 60 goals in his last 20 games, how does CHB sound?

He has also played down back previously. So clearly we have him earmarked to play either end as needs arise, a bit of the Hooker role. Current need is down back.

I think it’s a good move, gets him an early debut, you can’t have laverde and Redman as our two key defenders for 4 weeks. Then once the talls come back send him back to full forward in the vfl.

We would gain good variability if he can perform at both ends well
It’s been years since we have had a decent player that can play both ends.
Lucas was a gun CHF & CHB; Hooker was great at times at both ends.

Was shunted into the backline at collingwood as they preferred Ash Johnson, which ultimately saw him delisted. Would be a shame if he didnt get an opportunity to state his case as a forward for us.
Having said that I’m not sure his style would gel the best with Caddy in the AFL, May on the other hand
