#5 Devon Smith

Maybe forward pocket as is a goal kicker…does not chase often either

one of those players that cannot hit top speed after a serious injury, or is too scared too

has lost two yards of pace, and lost enthusiasm because of it

A step in the right direction for him tonight

Honestly think that was his best game of the season. He was at every contest. Feel like he was let down by a couple of poor marks from kicks. Like the new role for him.

I’ve been following footy a year and could tell the difference tonight. If you couldn’t, your an idiot.

got alot of ball tonight but his disposal is shocking. he has stunk it up all season so hopefully we see some improvement. otherwise theres no point continuing with him

He laid a lot of tackles that one year…

It was definitely his best game for the season but he should be anchored to the forward line, his disposal is an issue and he doesn’t add that much around the clearances. He doesn’t compliment our Tier 1 mids either

He was good, but still missed some easy kicks that a player of his calibre should make. Hopefully he finishes the season strongly and can carry that on into 2021.

Did my eyes deceive me or did he play off half back for extended stages tonight?

I didn’t actually mind it!

He was good tonight the old Dev Smith

Much better in the second half.

Better, but he is still just going.

Looking forward to someone taking his spot from him as soon as possible.

If yours did so did mine, thought it was a good role for him

Halfback flank.
Seems to be the spot we’ve selected this year to hide players who are not performing in their usual role (see also Fantasia).
Sure he was somewhat better tonight, but it’s a fkn low bar…

His best game so far this year

At least we know he’s not cooked.

It probably goes to show how hard it is playing in our forward line at the moment
