I know it’s preseason and the hype train is at its highest after the draft, but if we go anywhere as a club it will be ok the back of guys like Tsatas becoming a gun
Has the issue with his running also got something to do with his issue with his kicking?
If he can’t run and can’t kick, what were his actual attributes that got him drafted number 5?
Playing footy better than just about everybody else in his years.
His running was mainly an issue because of how much time he missed with the foot injury, straight into a knee injury with us.
He was a ball magnet with burst away speed at junior level and every other club would have taken him somewhere between picks 5-10 had we not.
Inside mid will be his go too at Afl level, I hope we give him the opportunity.
Would’ve thought running and kicking were pretty important traits in a footballer.
From the Kayo couch:
He has a very good initial burst of speed which makes him a weapon, and has a great handball out of the pack.
I reckon he’s right to go next season, starts in the middle for mine.
Needs to happen for him next season…that’s long enough to see if has what it takes. I’m bullishish!
Both Tsatas and Parish in the same midfield would worry me. They are both the same type of ball hunters that can’t really play anywhere else. Both with kicking deficiencies.
rotate one from forward pocket?
I see Tsatas like Dane swan, massive effort on ball then head to the bench
He has some tricks up forward, we just don’t want him anywhere near the back line until he can hit those 20-25m kicks 95% of the time under fatigue.
Its the year of the Tsatas, just sit back and enjoy.
You realize that the 2024 season has finished right?
How’d we fare?
Tracking beautifully.
According to antiresultists.
Lace OUT.
STIFF
“KEEP IT STILL, DRAPES!”
Has attributes our other mids don’t. Trust him and give him genuine center square minutes i reckon.
Winning his club B&F off the back of five games. Probably driven by the fact the Collingwood had him marked down as their first pick choice that year.
