The problem is,
You can’t have Tsatas in the same midfield as Parish
So why did they pick him in the first place?
Such a dumb pick for so many reasons.

It’s been obvious to a lot of people that we have needed a bigger bodied mid for over a decade. Coaches have been forced to improvise, turning Langford into a mid, and now Perkins. There has been very low investment in this type, with Setterfield, who was traded for a pick in the 60s, the only one who has had any success in the role.
I reckon Disco thought both Hobbs and Tstatas were filling this need. He said so about Hobbs after drafting him, and Tsatas is at least taller than some of our other mids. Hobbs plays with enough intent, but is rover size. Tsatas does not bash, crash and block at all.
In the Hobbs draft Matthew Johnson would’ve filled a need better than Hobbs. In the Tsatas draft Phillipou and Humphrey would’ve been good fits. Agree that Hobbs and Tsatas were poor selections.

In some cases; but, certainly not all.
Hobbs is playing (poorly) as a small forward, yet Davey (apparently) has been consigned to the scrap heap.
Perkins has been playing (poorly) as a mid, yet Tsatas and even Hobbs & Shiel (to lesser extents) have been overlooked for this role.
I’m not saying Tsatas, Davey or Shiel’s form warrant selection, but when compared to Perkins & Hobbs’ form there are grounds for debate.

If he asks for a trade and we hold him to his contract, that would be abusive. If he asks out, we should accept any pick inside 50, we don’t rate him at all and that’s ok, we’ll see if we’re right over the coming years.
As was signing Parish to a long term deal, all 3 are relics in regards to modern day midfield craft.
