#5 Elijah Tsatas (Part 2)

Yeah I think the way to do it is probably have Hobbs go out and move Merrett to forward flank but it goes against what I want us to do as club and start the rebuild with young players

Here’s a novel idea: put him in the starting centre square against Richmond with Setterfield and Durham and tell him to win the ■■■■■■■ pill.

What do we do with Merrett, Duz and Caldwell then?

?? Andrew had Duz in his centre 3.

Caldwell would obviously be a rotation, Merrett swings between hf and another rotation.

You don’t just play the same 3 blokes for 100% of the game

^ this, and, as much as I loved caldwell’s start to the season if you don’t get dropped for a 3 contested possession, 1 clearance and 2 tackle game as a midfielder who spent the majority of the contest in the guts we are not a serious team

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but iam willing to bet that Brad won’t drop him, he only does that to guys under 20 games usually after one off performance

If a young player played like Caldwell, Perk, Hobbs, Langford or 2MP last night it would be a long time until they were back on the team

I don’t mean to be age-pointer-outery guy, but Hobbs is 21 and Perkins 23.

Good point

Hell he drops em even if they’re in the bests because they lose a 1v1 deep in defense against a guy with a 4 or 5 preseason advantage

True dat homie

Doesn’t just drop them, but challenges the media for talking up their performance…

If we just used those 3 and ET in a rotation they’d get 75% game time each.
Not a lot of minutes to fit in elsewhere.

Savaging that journo for pumping up mass after a very good game from a young player was one of the strangest things I’ve seen in an afl press conference

Then proceeds to talk up Weideman a bunch of times after 0 goal games despite not a single reporter bringing him up.

Sums up Brad perfectly.

Yeah but you hadn’t seen Mass’ GPS numbers on his 27 disposal, 90% disposal efficiency game. HORRIFIC.

Harry Jones, on the other hand, he may not touch the ball, but those GPS numbers :chefs kiss:

Are you Brad scott

Surely he is gone at the end of the season.
If you can’t get in off the back of his performances in the vfl and the midfield in the afl get a reprieve every week then there is something seriously wrong behind the scenes.
How gresh guelfi and even Clarke to be honest come in off little to no form.
And Hobbs Caldwell and co put up trash with no repercussions just bewilders me

He just needs to keep tearing it up in the VFL, then get the hell out come seasons end. It’s clear Brad isn’t going to give him a proper chance.

Go to someone who will
