His best play, imo was the link up with jobe. started the same position as jobe ended up 30 metres ahead of him ( about 50 metres total) to get the mark at 40 out.

well, you gotta take the good with the bad tho. if hes baulking guys and slotting them from outside 50 pretty consistently, i reckon we can cut him some slack on the set shots.

it’s good to hear, and it’s all well and good to stand up in big games.
but lets not forget after anzac day he couldn’t hit the side of a barn if his life depended on it against melbourne. his set shots have ALooooooooooooooooong way to go still.
I think most can accept he is still a work in progress, just cut out the showboating until as you predict he actually does win us something meaniingful.
