I agree with your query, but like HM says we have so many holes that Jye would fill a need regardless. As for a pure inside mid Dunkley is the one I’d trade a pick for.

FYI Sam Walsh had a kicking efficiency of 55.4% this year. Caldwell was 53.6%.

That’s why it’s not a meaningless stat, but it can be-deceptive.
Was the kick made under pressure,or no pressure?
THAT is the difference that’s needed to truly evaluate the quality of a players disposal.
When in space, with your team mates running forward-it is THAT kick that can hurt the team far more than the quick one out of the pack where the players haven’t even had the opportunity to move.
Id imagine inside mids DE are generally down a bit?

He’s certainly an unknown and unproven, but if it’s a late first round or beyond we can still meet the demand to use early picks. He’s young enough to basically qualify as a draft selection anyway. And he’d effectively give us a drafted midfielder which may make us more comfortable going with a KPP early in the draft.
I’m more concerned long term if we continue to not take top 10 selections. I’d like to get Dunkley, but if the cost was two first rounds then it’s tough to fill other needs.
