#6 The Joe Dan Thread - the bit between Diggers trolling us and THE RETURN

Isn’t he playing BBL for the Sixers under the name Dwarshuis? Left-handed, so could be.

Don’t think they’ve been seen in the same room LOL!

Ha. Happy you picked up the reference.

This is it fairybread what I mean.

Lack discipline and commitment to a greater purpose than himself and that’s his career and teammates

Correct WOB…those suggesting has anyone spoken to him from on here, well I haven’t but again I don’t go by his behaviours, I go by his discipline and commitment.

Very much like Smith whom I did speak to at the elimination final and was off the booze. Great example of discipline and commitment to get himself right.

Also I go on a former player in BJ whom had the courage to speak about JD’s lack of discipline and commitment to his rehab.

Sure it’s his opinion, however the dots seem to be joining. Plus I don’t forget Daniher stating on air he was not leaving EFC only to have secret meetings with Sydney which is about integrity and character.

All in all words used like hate in here are very strong words and not what I believe blitzers think about any player who plays for EFC,

It’s more frustration, complacency by the club for not reinforcing for all players, wanting to stay or go that no player is bigger than the club.

you’re comparing him to James hird, who’s career threatening injuries where due to him training excessively, right.

I have accepted that he won’t play much this year and any game he plays will be a bonus

Has it been proven that Joey isn’t training behind closed doors or off site? (God forbid!!)
I mean it would make sense if he was.

It’s like no one trusts @Bomb_Doe’s posts.

People actually thinking about free agency worth, he will be lucky to be playing football next year let alone being offered big dollars by Sydney.

First round pick in our hands during trade week for a bloke who’s body is completely cooked and we turned it down.

Surely someone at the club knew his body was so far off playing again that we should be shipping me off.

The only reason it didn’t happen was because “that won’t be a good look to lose Joe Daniher”. Guaranteed. Nothing to do with picks or worth, just what it will look like. Because that’s all the club (not the players) care about.

Effectively making a player bigger than the club.

If your reasoning is in fact reality

Pretty sure Sydney only ever offered pick 9 which they didn’t even have.

The was never a deal worth taking. Move on.

Pick your side, then pick your quote.

“As recently as midway through the final day we were told unequivocally that picks No.5 and No.9, as two draft picks, wouldn’t get it done,” Swans chief executive Tom Harley told SEN.

“Five wasn’t on the table,” Dodoro told Telstra AFL Trade Radio.

“In the end our philosophy was that we wanted a player to be part of this and they couldn’t see their way around it.

“They put nine (Carlton’s first-round pick) and a future first-round pick to us.”

I pick the side i’ve supported for many years. That just seems obvious.

please and thank you

Well, they didn’t know he was meeting Tom Harley until Adam Tomlinson dobbed them in either. What could’ve possibly gone wrong? Especially after Joe went to the lengths of wearing a cap, sunnies and hoodie to his meeting with Harley. Yep. Nothing to see here…

joe’s been drinking 4lokos

I saw Joe Daniher at a milk bar in Tullamarine yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
