6 wins. How? Dreamtime review

Where and when did I say that?

I’m guessing because we were playing a bottom 4 team that you decided to rock up to a game last night? What were your general thoughts then on the atmosphere? Everyone rapt and doing cartwheels about the club right now?

I watched from home.on tv.

it sounded like the essendon crowd was roaring in the last qrt when we kicked a couple in a row to put the game beyond 20 points

What does being so condescending achieve?

I know right.

If you can’t see the difference between that and your post then I don’t know what to tell you

We clearly disagree on our views of the current perception of our supporter base when it comes to the team and club.

You seem to have an issue that I am summarising a majority (this doesn’t mean every single person for those that struggle with basic English) of the supporter base as fairly underwhelmed and bordering on unenthusiastic.

I must have been at the wrong game.

No, I don’t mind your views, even thought I don’t agree you’re well within your right to post whatever they are - but sniping Nino for no reason isn’t really called for I would have thought

And your righteous or holier than thou tone is pretty ■■■■■■ too, but again if you want to be a pos have at it

you spend an inordinate amount of your time on a footy forum discussing your opinion of other people’s opinions instead of the actual team

Sniping?

I don’t need to dig up post histories, but he’s made it pretty clear several times this year on this forum (and I reckon last year as well) that he has avoided several more difficult fixtures and prefers the games that are considered a bigger chance for us to win.

He is one of thousands who would do that. I don’t really have an issue with that and if I did? Who cares. His life. His choice.

I would prefer it next time if he directly quotes me when going down the road of “Your not allowed to enjoy wins or anything positive if your an Essendon fan” when I or nobody else has actually said that.

Nup, at the game the crowd was genuienly flat and devoid of any enthusiasm or excitement.

Was the same v North a few weeks ago.

Yep. Not much excitement where I was sitting.

I got the feeling most people were there because of obligation.

I noticed Richmond supporters trying to rile up Essendon supporters at the start of the game…… and nobody could be bothered with that sh*t.

Thats the vibe i get in here when when the team wins

My view is that we should enjoy wins when we get them and try to find the things we did well.

Most likely wont get another win till we play Richmond again

think you would’ve enjoyed it more if it was at marvel

I don’t know what this means…

Who can be really bothered with that primary school yard sh&t anyway?

Says more about their childish mentality and our superior maturity :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Second half of the year should do some way to reversing some of these cheap wins.

Brisbane :x:
Carlton :x:
Geelong :x:
Fremantle (away) :x:
Gold Coast :x:
Richmond
GWS :x:
Bulldogs :x:
Sydney (away) :x:
Geelong (away) :x:
St.Kilda
Carlton :x:

I see 2 wins, with the Carlton games 40/60 chances (with injuries probably less).

Gold Coast and GWS at Marvel are always a chance. But injuries are starting to pile up now. We’re in a lot of trouble

Yeah going to be tough to win the flag with that draw.

I’ll tell you what, beat Carlton both times and I’ll consider this year a success.

Some consecutive whackings inbound, the pressure on Brad will be huge by the time we roll up for our next dogs flogging
